Procedures
Lesion removal
A one stop visit to Dr Hannah's procedure room to remove any troublesome, uncomfortable, or concerning skin lesions. A variety of removal modalities are available. Biopsy of rashes is also available.
(We recommend all specimens removed are sent for histopathology to Abdali Hospital Laboratory)
Skin cancer surgery
Where a skin cancer is diagnosed, Dr Hannah is skilled in removing it and suturing the area. In sensitive sites cosmetically (eg ears, nose, around the eyes), Mohs Surgery to remove the skin cancer is offered, with subsequent reconstruction provided by a Plastic Surgeon.
Skin biopsy
When a rash is difficult to diagnose, a biopsy can be performed to narrow down the diagnosis. This involves taking a small area of skin from the affected area. The specimen is then sent to the Laboratory for histopathology, and results are usually available in 7 days.
Planning Consultation
Uncertain what treatment you need, or want to find out more about available treatments? A focussed appointment to assess your face (or body) to create an individualised treatment plan, taking into consideration your specific preferences, and budget.
Cryotherapy
Cryotherapy using liquid nitrogen is available for the treatment of warts, skin tags, and other benign or precancerous skin lesions where suitable.
