Before Your Treatment

Please follow these instructions

  • Avoid sun exposure and artificial tanning for at least two weeks before your appointment.
Do not use self-tanner, spray tan or tanning creams before treatment.

  • Tell your practitioner about any medicines, supplements or skincare products you use.

  • Do not stop prescribed medication unless advised by your doctor.

  • Arrive with clean skin and no makeup, creams or perfume on the treatment area.

  • Tell the clinic if you have recently developed a tan, sunburn, rash, infection or broken skin.

Pre-Treatment Consultation

Before your first Forever Young BBL treatment, a consultation may be recommended to assess your skin and discuss your goals. Your practitioner will also advise whether any pre-treatment skincare is suitable for you.

During Your Treatment

Protective eyewear will be provided and must remain in place during the procedure.

You may experience a mild warming, tingling or snapping sensation as the light is delivered. Your practitioner will check your comfort throughout the treatment.

After Your Treatment

  • Protect the treated area from direct sun exposure.

  • Apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher every day.

What to Expect

Temporary redness, warmth or sensitivity may occur after treatment. These effects often settle within several hours, but recovery can vary depending on your skin and the treatment settings.

Pigmented areas may temporarily appear darker before gradually fading. Do not pick or exfoliate these areas.

When to Contact the Clinic

Contact the clinic if you experience blistering, increasing pain, marked swelling, signs of infection or any reaction that concerns you.
